Jiwire has recently released some interesting statistics on location and mobile data, most notable, users tend to prefer purchasing from a physical store when within 5 miles and overall, social checkins are boring! Finally, no surprise here but tablet usage is soaring and the big 3 mobile OS' to look at (US and UK) are iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile/Phone.

Complementary Roles Of Tablets, Smart Phones, And Television
A recent article by Clayton Morris, Study Reveals Changing Role of iPads, Tablet PCs found that 70 percent of tablet owners and 68 percent of smart phone owners use their devices while watching television. It also reported that 61 percent of eReader owners use their device in bed, while 57 percent of tablet owners and 51 percent of smart phone owners do the same. Now bed is one of the places I watch TV, the other is in my office next to my laptop.

Tablet Case Review: Zaggmate
I'll admit that when I first saw the Zaggmate mentioned, I was stoked. An iPad case with hard body aluminum case and built in wireless keyboard… It was like combining chocolate and peanut butter in Reese's cup. Genius.
